Take time to consider how do you want the overall entrance to look. Finishes such as Piers, Posts, Finials, Brickwork, Lighting & Signage should all be considered in the planning stage.
Many installations will be limited by access and location, but the more you can consider and plan at the beginning of the project the better.

Deliveries & Your Mail
Consideration for your mail and deliveries is an important detail when plannning your installation. Often overlooked at the beginning of such a lengthy project, however as a daily occurrence and one that if not thought through at the planning stage will become very inconvenient in the future.
Facilitating Deliveries and Mail can also be addressed when programming your communication system.
- Letterbox incorporated into a pier, with rear access. If this is an option you want, it is imperative that it is included at the design stage.
- Letter slot with rear box installed into the gate fabric. This works with a wooden gate and would be included at manufacture
- Affixed as part of a steel gate, installed at manufacturing.
- Externally fixed either to an external wall or pole mounted on the verge
Lighting & Signage
It is always possible to add lighting and Signage at a later date, but it is worth considering at the beginning of the project so that wiring can be positioned correctly and installed aesthetically.
