Planning Your Project

For over 30 Years we have worked with many different clients, from domestic installations, commercial installations to community installations such as schools and churches.

Each installation is different and requires varying types of planning and preparation.

No matter what your circumstance we will help you navigate the choices and decisions, technical complexities and logistics to achieve your goal.

The Project Process

  • From your initial enquiry we’ll arrange a consultation to discuss your ideas and objectives, conduct a site survey and explore the best solutions for your project.  At this point we will discuss compliance, health & safety issues with gate automation & planning permission possibilities
  • On agreement and with a clear understanding of your project specification we will provide a comprehensive estimate
  • On approval of the estimate we require a 50% deposit to commence and provide a works schedule
  • We aim to complete all the groundworks, construction elements and automation installation within the time frame of the gate manufacturing process
  • On delivery of the gates these will be hung and automation commissioned
  • Finally our completion will include full operational instructions and tutorial with handover of manual release keys, controllers and documentation
  • With all new installations there is invariably some initial teething problems with programming.  We will be at hand to help you with these, so the programming is compatible with your needs and lifestyle.

Timings & Planning Permission

Timings

Timings will vary with each project but as a guideline our timings from receipt of your deposit are

Hardwood Gates: 12 weeks

Metal Gates: 8 – 10 weeks

Planning Permission

Planning Permission may be required for your project.  Planning Permission can take several months to process and needs to be considered at the beginning of a project.  We do not undertake planning permission applications and do not accept responsibility if an installation is completed without the necessary consents.
